For this project, my group was tasked with choosing a disease from a list and then researching the disease. My group chose Creudzfedlt-Jakob disease(aka Mad Cow disease). We had to know what it did, how it spreads, how to treat it, who it affects, etc. Before and during this project we had been learning about protein synthesis and the process of transcription and translation.

Reflection
This project was really easy because of the amount of time we were given and few of my group members. My group had four people in it and I think it's fair to say that only three of them actually worked on the project(including me). Thankfully even though we really only had three people working on the project, we were able to complete it on time(and well in my opinion). One pro of this project was being able to learn about an interesting disease that has a lot of research done about it. This made it easier for us to find our research while looking on the internet. Another pro was that my two teammates that helped pick up the slack from the one that didn't really do anything. It's a little bit frustrating when you're doing a group project and not everyone in the group tries to contribute. A con of this project would definitely be my one group member who did almost nothing. Like I said before, it really sucks when your own groups production speed at doing the project goes down when one member won't contribute. Another con would be how much time we were given. While it was nice to have a breather, my group was done about 3-4 days before the project was due. All in all, this project was successful in my books and while it was not one of the most fun projects, it definitely taught me how to be efficient with my time during class.
