Reflection
After making our trebuchet, Izagani, Christa and I were tasked with making a Hybrid Car that could carry two stacks of 100 pennies five meters. We had to do this while staying cost efficient and having the vehicle carry the pennies at a decent speed. For our design, we went with a gondola that could carry more than just two stacks of pennies and potentially be used as a mean of public transportation. We had faced one challenge towards the end of our construction cycle because the string that connected the gondola to the pulley had snapped. It wasn't that hard to fix but it took some time. One thing I learned by working in this group is that getting things done earlier and not procrastinating helps give you time to make any necessary fixes that comes out of nowhere that needs to be done.

Thermal Energy-Energy converted to heat. The equation used to find thermal energy is, ThrE = TE - PE - KE (Thermal Energy equals total energy minus potential energy minus kinetic energy). The unit used for thermal energy is J (Joules).
Friction-The force opposing the direction of motion due to the roughness at the molecular level(collision). Friction was used in our Gondola by the collision between the two lines of rope and the pulley. Friction helps slow down the Gondola so it doesn't simply crash into the other endpoint.
